    Model year 1999

    Vehicle description: sport utility vehicles. The power assisted steering pump pulley can fail resulting in a loss of steering power assist. If vehicle operation is continued, engine overheating/damage could result.

    Consequence:
    The loss of steering assist could increase the risk of a vehicle crash.
    Remedy:
    Dealers will install a power steering pump/pulley assembly.
